Museum Educator

Arizona Capitol Museum

Starting at $19-$22 per hour

Museum Educators provide guided tours of the Museum and both the historic and current legislative chambers, greet visitors and answer questions about Museum exhibits and Arizona government, participate in live Q&A sessions with virtual field trip students, provide backup for Museum gift shop staff by ringing up customer purchases and restocking merchandise, monitor exhibits, clean display cases and report repair and cleaning needs, prepare visitor handouts and exploration materials, and help track and enter visitor statistics and other data.

 

This is not a remote position. Museum Educators work a minimum of 24 hours a week over four to five shifts, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm and occasional Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.
